What 100% means in IGTAP

IGTAP has no in-game completion percentage, so "100%" is a community convention: earn all 29 Steam achievements. That definition pulls in the entire hidden layer of the game — secret upgrades, the facility escape, reverse course runs, and the ominous message in the Vman speedrun — not just the visible progression of courses and clone economics.

The rarity of the final achievements shows how few players finish everything. Definitely not lost (all secret upgrades) sits at 1.1% and Quam Formidolosum (the Vman message) at 0.5%. Community creators do complete it, though — MOREQUIS' video "I 100% IGTAP By Making 1 Quadrillion Clones" documents a full clear pursued through overwhelming clone production, the game's own preferred solution to hard problems.

Phase 1: Core progression

The first phase is simply playing the game. Record routes, grow your clone army, buy watts worth of upgrades, and push through the courses. Along the way you will collect most of the easy achievements without trying:

• Tis but a flesh wound — die once (99.7%)
• Wall jumping, Spintap, Jump, but again. — unlock wall jump, dash, double jump (98.6%, 94.7%, 86.9%)
• Polar increments — unlock block polarity swap (61.5%)
• Overdraw — trip the breaker (66.8%)
• I am igtapic. — buy your first atom (61.0%)
• Exponential growth — plant the upgrade tree (60.9%)
• Stem Cells — unlock refresh orbs (50.4%)
• Collapsing the state — use a teleporter (40.8%)
• Metal in motion — activate the zip movers (37.0%)
• All angle igtap — unlock the omni-dash (28.5%)

Please Be Quiet (36.7%) can be grabbed any time by turning off the music in settings. You win! (28.0%) arrives when you complete your purpose — finishing the main game.

Phase 2: The collection layer

Once the main game is done, shift from optimizing to exploring. This phase covers everything hidden:

• Not all those who wander are lost — find one secret upgrade (92.1%; most players already have it)
• Definitely not lost — find all secret upgrades (1.1%)
• The greatest adventure is what lies ahead — escape the facility into the dark overgrown garden bonus area (5.4%)
• Quam Formidolosum — view the ominous message inside the Vman speedrun (0.5%)

Community-reported methods apply here: sweep every course edge-to-edge with the full movement toolkit, watch the environment rather than the timer during Vman content, and treat the escape as a deliberate objective after late-game progression. Phase 3: The Vman courses and reverse runs

The Vman speedrun chain is the skill gate of 100%:

• Deja vu — finish Vman course 1 (12.6%)
• Getting Faster — finish Vman course 2 (9.2%)
• Half done! — finish Vman course 3 (7.2%)
• igtapithon — finish Vman course 4 (5.6%)
• Waow... so fast — finish Vman course 5 (4.7%)
• Reverse Current — complete every course in reverse order (1.7%)

Run the Vman courses at least twice: once for the completion achievements, and once slowly, hunting the ominous message for Quam Formidolosum. Do Reverse Current after everything else, since running courses backwards is far kinder with every movement ability in hand.

Phase 4: Grinds and execution tests

Two achievements are grinds or pure execution, best left for downtime between phases:

• You Died… alot — die 100 times (80.8%; happens naturally)
• Why are we still here, just to suffer? — die 500 times (19.6%)
• Igtap want boing boing — bounce on 10 springs without touching the ground (10.1%)
• Jump, but again, again. — regain the double jump ability (5.8%; a progression beat, not a grind)
• Environmental Energy — fully grow the upgrade tree (6.8%; a late-game power sink)

Deaths accumulate passively while you attempt the hard platforming above, so never farm them separately unless you are missing nothing else. The spring chain and the fully grown tree both benefit from late-game resources and abilities.

What 100% realistically requires

Plan for the achievement list to outlast the story by a wide margin. Roughly a quarter of players finish the game; under 2% reverse every course. The long tail is exploration and precision, not incremental grinding — though MOREQUIS' quadrillion-clone run shows that when execution fails, production can brute-force parts of it.

Note also what 100% does not include: the community-named B-Side and the community-documented secret bonus level have no achievements attached, so they are optional even for completionists. Conversely, nothing in the 29 is known to be missable within a save — deaths accumulate, secrets can be revisited, and courses can be replayed.

Work top-down through the checklist, save the four rarest rows for last with the full toolkit in hand, and your Steam profile will land where only about one player in a hundred ever does.
