There is no official course map
Let us be honest up front: neither the Steam page nor any verified official source publishes a full map of IGTAP's world, and no complete course list with coordinates exists. Any "full map" you see elsewhere is a player reconstruction. What this page does instead is explain how the world is organised according to official screenshots and the achievement list, so you can build an accurate mental map as you play.
What is verified: courses are numbered (ONE and FOUR appear in official screenshots, and the achievements confirm Vman courses 1 through 5), the game takes place largely inside a facility, and it is possible to escape that facility — the achievement The greatest adventure is what lies ahead (5.4%) is awarded for exactly that.

Inside the facility: courses, kiosks and the statue room
The facility is the hub. Between and around courses you find rows of upgrade kiosks where watts are spent. One official screenshot shows a whole row of them, including "Boost all previous courses," clone count, clone reward multiplier, base reward, and the chance-based speed tier and size tier upgrades, with a power counter reading 2.00Tw at the top.
A distinct area is the red statue room, which hosts two special kiosks: "Awaken the statue's power" (priced at 11.09Gw in the official screenshot) and "+1 maximum clone speed tier [Global]" (475.47Mw). Treat the statue room as a landmark on your mental map — global tier upgrades bought there affect every course, not just the one you are standing in.

Where course entrances sit conceptually
Course entrances are part of the facility's structure: you approach a course, run it, and the settlement panel (Reward, Clone reward mult, Best time, clone count) appears when you finish. The numbered naming — ONE, FOUR, Vman course 1 to 5 — strongly suggests a progression rather than a free-for-all, and the achievement Reverse Current ("Complete every course, in reverse order", 1.7%) proves the courses form an order that can also be run backwards.
Movement abilities act as soft gates on this layout. Wall jump, dash, double jump, polarity swap, and the omni-dash each unlock through play, and later content expects them. Practically, that means some doors and gaps you pass early are one-way hints: if a ledge looks unreachable, park it mentally and come back after a new ability lands.

Outside the facility: escape and the dark garden
IGTAP does not end at the facility walls. Escaping the facility is an achievement in its own right, and an official screenshot shows what lies beyond: a dark, vine-choked garden area with an atmosphere completely different from the interior. This outside zone is tied to the game's hidden content — secret upgrades (Not all those who wander are lost, and the 1.1% completionist achievement Definitely not lost) reward players who explore off the beaten path.
Because only 5.4% of players have escaped the facility, most of the community never sees this area, and verified details about its layout are scarce. Map it yourself as you go, and expect platforming that leans on every ability you have collected.

Planning a route through the world
Even without a printed map, you can plan efficiently. A simple approach:
- Note which courses you have cleared and what your Best time is on each — the settlement panel records it.
- Spend watts at kiosks near the courses you farm most, prioritising global upgrades (statue room tiers, "Boost all previous courses") when you can afford them.
- Revisit earlier courses after every new movement ability; old routes often get dramatically shorter.
- Keep an eye out for off-path openings — secret upgrades and the route to escaping the facility reward curiosity.
- Save the reverse-order challenge (Reverse Current) for last, once every course is comfortable.
Filling in the gaps yourself
Since the official picture is incomplete, the best map is the one you draw from your own runs. Community hubs are the right place to compare notes: the Steam Community Hub and r/IGTAP both host players sharing route and layout discoveries, and speedrun.com/IGTAP runners have effectively mapped the fastest order through the game.
Until an official map or full course list surfaces, treat any third-party "complete map" as a fan reconstruction and verify claims against what your own save shows. For what each course actually contains, see our courses guide; for the recorded paths your clones run, see the routes guide.
